Most
of the problems during the Installation / Usage of Holy
Quran Malayalam English Translation V1.0 is
system specific and can be solved. Our Quran software is running without any
problems in more than 90% of the systems. As
a software product, it may have some problems wihle installing or using.
Problems may be different in different systems depending on the
system configuration , OS installed, Ignorance of the User etc.
Please go through this page carefully and find out solution
for your problem. If your problem is not listed here, feel free
to contact us with complete details of your problem. If you
experience any installation problems Click Here. Major reasons for the installation
/ usage problems are listed below.
(1) Slow responses of the
CD drive

Before starting the Software
Change
resolution to atleast 800
x 600
Change color settings to Maximum color ( 24 Bit
True Color or 32 Bit )
Inserted Holy Quran CD into the
drive
Close all other application

Solution :
Re-install Windows Media Player 6.0 or above. You can download
Media Player Setup from www.microsoft.com

the screen. Some parts of

| Reasons : Driver files for the
Display device is not correct, Very low Refresh Rate |
Solution :
This problem
is due to very low refresh rate settings in some display
devices. Please change the refresh rate to Optimum or choose higher
refresh rates. For changing Refresh Rate right click the desktop and
select properties. From the Display Properties dialogue
box select Settings > Advacned. From Monitor or Adapter set
the Refresh Rate to 70, 75 or 85. Set a high Refresh Rate to
avoid the flickering of the monitor.

System hangs while
starting the
application |
| Reason : Low system resources,
Sharing violation problems |
|
Solution :
This problem is most
probably due to low system resources like RAM, Processor Speed etc.
Another reason for this problem may be due to the use of some shared
system files by other applications. Close all other applications
including the applications working on the background ( System Tray).
For closing applications in the system tray ( Near Clock , Lower
Right Corner of the screen ) right click on
the icons and select Exit. Then start the Quran
Software.

| Recitation is
working but the Volume
is very
low |
| Reason :
In your Media Player Volume may be set to
low. |
|
Solution :
Start your Media
Player ( From Programs > Accessories >
Entertainment > Windows Media Player
) and set the volume to
maximum. Then Exit the Media Player and start the
Quran Software.

| Recitation is
working but, stops while using the software |
| Reason
: In your Media Player volume may be
set to minimum |
|
Solution :
Start your Media Player ( From Programs >
Accessories > Entertainment > Windows Media
Player
) and set the volume to maximum. Then Exit
the Media Player and start the Quran Software.

| Cannot read Malayalam
Translation due to some
font problems |
| Reason : Sharing
Violation, Impact of other applications like Adobe Pagemaker, ISM, iLeap
etc. |

Solution :
Close all other
applications including the applications working in the background. To close the applications in the
system tray ( lower right corner of screen near clock ) right click
the icons and select Exit or Close.
If the problem still
exists, then uninstall the Quran Software and re-install it.

The software need a
minimum resolution of 800 x 600. Change the resolution by right
clicking the Desktop > Properties or taking Display properties
from Control Panel. Form the settings option change the resolution
to 800 x 600. Then Start the Quran
Software.

Solution :
Holy Quran Malayalam
English Translation V1.0 CD should be inside the drive before
starting the application from the Start menu. Insert the Original CD
and restart the application.
